When it comes to indian drinks, this is no doubt one of my favorites.
Lassi is a yoghurt-based drink that originates in the Punjab region of India. It’s a fresh and cooling drink made with yoghurt and different kinds of fruits. Plain lassi, banana lassi, and mango lassi are three of the most popular variations of this drink.

Kosna
Kosna is a traditional rice beer that’s also known under the names Chhang, Chuak, and Sonti. It’s one of the Indian drinks that’s popular all over the country.
In the tribal regions they used to drink this beverage during traditional festivals.
Masala Chai
Tea is in general loved all over India. One of the most popular teas to drink is the Masala Chai. It’s a black tea mixed with various Indian herbs and spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and black peppercorn.
They mix this herbal spiced tea with milk to make the famous Masala Chai tea.

Shikanji
Shikanji is a type of lemonade that comes from the Punjab region in the northern part of the country.
It’s made of lemon or lime juice, ginger juice, ice, and water. Some recipes also include salt, saffron and cumin into the drink.
Shikanji is served ice cold often with mint leaves and some fresh fruits. It’s simply delicious!

Feni
This is an Indian drink that’s produced in Goa. It’s a type of liquor distilled from the fermented juice of cashew fruits. The alcohol content is high and is usually between 42-45%.

This drink is also known under the name Bhang and is made from milk and dried fruits. It’s the god Shiva’s favorite drink and is also a favorite in Maha and Shivratri.
