Traditional Arabic coffee pot

If you’re planning to buy some Arabic coffee during your stay, I would also buy the Arabic coffee pots. These are called ”dallah” and can be used to brew and serve coffee, or as a decoration in your home.

The coffee pots can be made from both copper, brass, silver, and even 24-carat gold. So the prices vary depending on what kind of material you want. You can shop the coffee pots at the souks, as well as at the Dubai Coffee Museum.

Looking for a nice edible souvenir to bring back home? Visit Mirzam and buy some delicious local chocolate.

They have an Emirati chocolate collection where they have used both Loqaimat, Halawa, and Cardamom – which is very popular among both locals and tourists. The chocolates made with saffron are very popular as well.

Bakhoor incense

When strolling around in Dubai you’ll most likely feel the smell of bakhoor. Bakhoor is agarwood chips that they burn (like an incense) to get this unique aroma in a room.

They also sell a fragrance oil called ”oudh” in Dubai. This is made from the agarwood resin and gives a really nice smell. You can buy these oils pure, or mixed together with floral oils for a different fragrance.

Every time you’ll be using the bakhoor or oudh in your home, you’ll be reminded of your trip in Dubai!
