What to expect
Kannon Coffee is a simple but cozy cafe that has become popular because of its cute buddha crepes. There are a few seats inside, as well as some just outside the cafe.
Not only is the crepes cute, but they’re good as well. So is their coffee. In addition to this they also serve a variety of cakes, scones, muffins, quiche, bagels, juice, and smoothies.
Another good thing about this small cafe is that they have a toilet for their customers. So this is a good place to take a break in between sightseeing in Kamakura.
How much does it cost?
The prices varies depending on what you want to get. Their muffins and scones cost 320 yen, hot/cold tea 450 yen, and coffees around 500-600 yen.
Their crepes cost 680 yen + additional 120 yen if you want the buddha cookie on top.

Is the food and drinks good?
Yes, the things we tasted were good. We tasted both the buddha crepe and the coffee, and we have no complaints what so ever.
We haven’t tried anything else than that, however, everything looked really good!
The inside of Kannon Coffee
Inside Kannon Coffee there’s not much space and only a few seats where you can sit. The interior is simple and cozy with wooden walls, modern hanging lamps, and dried bouquets of flowers.
Inside they also have a toilet if you need to go before your next destination in Kamakura.
Buy some souvenirs
Inside the cafe they have some nice souvenirs that you can bring back home as a gift for yourself or someone you love. They sell everything from the cute buddha cookies to packages with delicious coffee.
How to get to Kannon Coffee in Kamakura
When you’re in Kamakura you’re probably going to the Hasedera temple, which is one of the most popular temples to visit.
Before or after visiting Hasedera, you can stop by Kannon Coffee. It’s located on a side street from the street that Hasedera is located. It’s only a minute from the main entrance of Hasedera.
