After our trip to Iceland, we went to Copenhagen to visit Momondo HQ. During our time in the capital of Denmark, we stayed at Scandic Front in central Copenhagen. We stayed there for three nights in their beautiful Harbour Suite, and couldn’t be happier with our suite, service, and breakfast.

Room Standard (Harbour Suite)
We had the beautiful Harbour Suite when staying at Scandic Front. The Harbour Suite is a two-floor suite with all the comforts that you need and offers a great view of the harbor. The suite was spacious and had a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Our suite was provided with everything that we needed during our stay and more, and a great plus where the living room area downstairs where we relaxed and got some work done.
The suite also had robes, slippers, toiletries, coffee maker, minibar and a TV with international and Danish channels.
This is what you get when booking a Harbour Suite:
- Comfortable bed
- Comfortable pillows
- French balcony
- Bathroom with shower or bathtub
- Daily cleaning
- Free toiletries (FACE Stockholm Body lotion, conditioner, hand wash, shampoo & shower gel)
- Free WiFi
- Desk + chairs
- Living Room with sofas and a great sea view
- Iron and ironing board
- Kettle with coffee/tea
- Laptop safe
- Nespresso machine
- Delicious breakfast buffet
The breakfast was super delicious in my opinion. I usually don’t like hotel breakfasts, but this one was excellent. They offer many ecological options, and also for those who need lactose/gluten-free food. Scandic front offers a great selection of delicious food for you to have the best start of the day!
What to choose from the breakfast buffet:
- Fresh fruit
- Different kinds of bread (whole grain, white bread, and more)
- Cold cuts
- Bacon & Eggs
- Different kinds of Marmalade
- Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice (you make it yourself)
- Apple/Orange/Pineapple Juice
The staff was very welcoming and friendly towards Alex and me when we arrived at the hotel. They let us know everything we needed to know and showed us to our suite. When we had any questions, the staff was always happy to help, and during the breakfast, the staff was very service minded, polite and warm towards the guests.
The WiFi worked great down in the lobby, but on the highest floor (6th floor where we lived) the WiFi was sometimes unreliable. It worked for the majority of the time in the living room, but upstairs in the bedroom it didn’t work that well or often. For me, it’s important with good WiFi while traveling, since I’m working on my computer. But if you’re on vacation, I don’t think that would be a problem for you since you have a great view and beautiful suite to enjoy – so who needs wifi?
Outside the room
Scandic Front have modern decor, it’s clean, and provides a lobby for you to relaxing in. Here they also have a sauna, a gym, parking, and also a table football game if that’s something you’re interested in!
The location is great if you ask me. In the center of town, near lively areas and big tourist attractions lie Scandic Front. Just 5 minutes away you’ll find the main attraction of the city – Nyhavn with its colorful houses, beautiful boats, and cozy cafés/restaurants with outdoor seatings. It’s easy to get to and from the hotel with local transport from the Airport, and also by foot from the central-most parts of town.
Summary of my stay at Scandic Front
I must say that I had a great time staying at Scandic Front in their Harbour Suite. The suite was perfect, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great! The only downside was the internet on the 6th floor in our suite, but if you’re on vacation that might not be a big problem. The bedroom was very comfortable, and I liked the living room area on the first floor. The view wasn’t too bad either!
I can definiteley recommend you to stay at this hotel when traveling to Copenhagen!
