In March this year, Alex and I went to Paris for the first time ever. We stayed at Novotel Tour Eiffel, which is a nice and comfortable hotel near both the Eiffel Tower and the metro station.
We had a lovely 2-night stay at Novotel in Pairs, and down below you can read more about our experience:

Room Standard (Standard Room with Queen Size Bed)
We stayed in one of Novotel Tour Eiffel’s cheapest rooms (good value for your money) which was the standard room with queen size bed. Even though this was the cheapest option, the room was spacious, had a comfy bed, bathroom, and separate toilet.
We stayed on the 21st floor of the building so we even had a view of the city and Seine river, which was really nice.
The room offers all the things you could possibly need during your stay with coffee/tea maker, fridge to store some cold water, separate toilet and shower (big plus) and a big TV with international channels.
This is what you get when booking a Standard Room with Queen Size Bed:
- Comfortable queen size bed
- Private bathroom with tub
- Separate toilet
- Daily cleaning
- Free WiFi
- Complimentary Water
- Flat-Screen TV with satellite channels
- Free toiletries
- Tea/coffee maker
Novotel Tour Eiffel offers a standard continental breakfast that’s served daily down by the lobby. Some of my favorite things were the freshly baked baguettes, croissants, and fresh fruit.
- Scrambled Eggs
- Pan Au Chocolat
- Orange Juice
Outside the room
Novotel Tour Eiffel is a big hotel with 30 floors. There are 2 main areas where you can sit down and relax – one in the lobby and one downstairs by the entrance where you’ll find sofas and fun games.
This hotel also offers a restaurant/cafe where you can have some snacks and food.
If you want to relax after a whole day of sightseeing or shopping, you can just go down to the Spa where you’ll find an indoor pool and gym for exercising.
The staff at Novotel Tour Eiffel Paris was always friendly and helpful. Both during check-in and check-out, they greeted us with a smile on their faces and were in general helpful and friendly.
They also have room service, which we used to get a wine-opener. They didn’t just get us a wine-opener, but also two wine glasses and offered us to open the bottle. It all took around 5 minutes after we made the call, so big thumbs up for the staff!
The WiFi worked great throughout the whole hotel. We had no issues with the connection at all, and we could even watch Netflix on our laptops!
The location was one of the things I liked the most about this hotel. It’s the ideal location for a first-time visitor where you’re close to both the famous Eiffel Tower and the metro station. There are also some shops and nice restaurants close to the hotel.
It’s also easy to get to the hotel from the Paris Orly Airport, as well as CDG Airport and Beauvais, where low-cost airlines fly to.
Summary of our stay at Novotel Paris:
We both had a great stay at Novotel Tour Eiffel. We had a nice and tidy room with a view over the city and Seine river, good breakfast and great service.
We really like the location of the hotel and the fact that we could walk to the Eiffel Tower in just 5-10 minutes.
The hotel gives you great value for your money and is suitable for business travelers, couples, and solo travelers. It’s also good for families if you choose a bigger room or two separate rooms.
It’s nice that they have a restaurant, a gym and also a spa if you want to pamper yourself during your stay in Paris.
Would I recommend you to stay here?
Yes, I can definitely do. The hotel has an ideal location in Paris with walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are nice and spacious with comfortable beds – which is a must for a good night sleep. And a great plus is that it’s quite easy to get here from the airport with public transport.
