Pan Pacific Singapore was the first hotel we stayed at when we visited Singapore a week ago, and I must say that I’m not disappointed in what Pan Pacific Singapore had to offer. A modern and friendly hotel that is located within walking distance from some of Singapore’s biggest attractions, and not forget to mention the amazing view from the higher floors of the hotel.

Standard (Studio Harbour)
We stayed in a Studio Harbour during our stay at Pan Pacific. It was a spacious room with a big bathroom and a great view over Marina Bay. This must probably be one of the best views in Singapore, and I can recommend you to stay there only for the view haha.
Our Harbour Studio was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We had comfy robes and slippers, daily cleaning, a comfortable bed and an amazing view to admire during the mornings and evenings.
The only negative thing that I have to say about this room was the pillows since I thought that they were a bit uncomfortable. I’m sure that that’s something the staff would fix if you just ask, I just forgot to ask haha. I’m a fluffy/soft pillow person, but those who like firmer pillow will maybe think that they’re comfy – it’s just a question of taste!
Overall I’m very happy about our room. We had a great stay there!

Breakfast
The breakfast was good with a nice selection of food to choose from. Since we had the Harbour Studio, we had the opportunity to choose between eating in the main breakfast room or in the executive lounge. Our first morning we had breakfast up in the executive lounge on the 38th floor. Up there they had a nice breakfast buffet with everything from fresh blueberries/strawberries and Yoghurt to Asian food and bread with different spreads. We could also choose some things from the menu, such as coffee, dishes with egg, and fresh juice. I had the Eggs Benedict, a café late and also a glass of ginger and orange juice – all delicious! Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that you get a panoramic view of Singapore from up there? Yes, and it’s amazing!
Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that you get a panoramic view of Singapore from up there? Yes, there is, and it’s amazing!
Our second morning we went to the main breakfast room to try the food that they had down there. The food looked good, but we decided to eat in the lounge instead because of the view and the delicious egg dishes. This time I had the scrambled truffle eggs, which were really good. And once again, the view is unbeatable, so we wanted to enjoy it our last morning.
If we would have stayed there longer, we would definitely have tried the other breakfast option, because it looked good too with much more options to choose from!
Outside the room
When you’re not in your room or out exploring the city, there are several things for you to do around the hotel. At Pan Pacific Singapore you can relax down by the pool, get some exercise at the gym, pamper yourself at the spa, drink delicious cocktails at one of their bars, or enjoy some fine dining at one of their restaurants.
Restaurants
Pan Pacific offers something for everyone when it comes to food. There’s Japanese food, Cantonese food, Indian food, a restaurant for Asia Pacific food, a tapas bar and also the Pacific Marketplace where you can enjoy a nice sandwich, a salad or some delicious cakes and pastries.
Our first night we had dinner at their Cantonese (Chinese) Restaurant “Hai Tien Lo”. We had a tasting menu consisting of 5 different dishes, and everything was good. This was Chinese food like I’ve never tried it before. Not the greasy fried food that I’ve tried in several places around the world – this was fresh and had great flavors. To the food, we had hot tea, which is something all Chinese people drink while eating – and I must say that I liked it a lot.
If you decide to have dinner at the hotel, and can definitely recommend you to go to this restaurant and enjoy some Cantonese food!
Staff
The staff at Pan Pacific Singapore was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. There was always someone there to help you if you needed anything, and they smiled towards us and said hello. From the staff in the lobby to the cleaning staff, all of them were really friendly.
WiFi
The WiFi worked great throughout the whole hotel.
Location
Pan Pacific is located centrally in Singapore within walking distance to some of the biggest attractions like Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Flyer. Outside the lobby are staff to help you to get a taxi, and close to the hotel you’ll find different busses and a metro that will take you to different locations in Singapore.
The hotel is also surrounded by a lot of shopping, so if that’s something you’ve planned to do, this hotel is even more perfect!
Summary of my stay at Pan Pacific Singapore
Both Alex and I are very happy with our stay at Pan Pacific Singapore. We felt welcomed by the staff, and we really enjoyed the view from our room and also the food at the hotel. The hotel has a great location since it’s close to both shopping and the biggest attractions in the city within walking distance.
I can highly recommend you to stay at this hotel when you visit Singapore! It’s a great hotel, and the view is even better!
